Street lighting is one of the fastest, most visible improvements an island town can make. Self-contained solar lights avoid trenching, grid connections and diesel, which suits Ebeye’s dense streets and costly power.

The package

  • 100 self-contained solar luminaires with warm 3000 K, dark-sky-oriented light.
  • 20 ft, 3-inch galvanized steel poles with rebar cages and base covers.
  • Freight coordinated to Ebeye Port.
  • Education and programming for local crews, so the lights can be installed, configured and maintained on island.
  • Post-installation service and support, with a three-year warranty on materials and components.

Why it is specified this way

Warm colour temperature reduces glare and sky glow and is gentler on wildlife. Galvanized, marine-appropriate poles and sealed fittings resist salt spray. Local training and a spare-parts plan mean a failed light becomes a quick repair, not a long wait for a technician from overseas.
